Neoprene 4×4 Heat/Ice Gel Pack – 2ct

Instructions:

Heat Therapy
  • Place gel pack in microwave.
  • Heat on high for 10-15 seconds (if gel pack expands in microwave or if gel in gel pack begins to boil, turn off immediately – gel pack may burst if over heated).
  • Check temperature against inside of forearm to make sure gel pack is comfortable to the touch.
  • If gel pack is too hot, wait for it to cool to the point that it is comfortable to the touch before using.
  • To further heat, warm in microwave in 5-10 second increments until desired temperature is reached.
  • Once desired temperature is reached, position on and attach to inside of compression sleeve using velcro tabs.
  • Position compression sleeve so that gel pack is directly positioned above area in need to treatment – may need to reposition gel pack within compression sleeve for perfect placement.
  • Wrap sleeve around affected area so that it fits snugly and does not move.
  • Generally use 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
  • If gel pack feels uncomfortably hot, remove immediately – it may result in burns
  • In case of nerve damage, do not use gel pack.
Cold Therapy
  • 4” x 4” Hex Gel Packs
  • Place gel pack in freezer for at least one hour
  • Check temperature against inside of forearm to make sure gel pack is comfortable to the touch
  • If gel pack is frozen solid, wait for it to warm to the point that it is comfortable to the touch before using
  • Warning – using gel pack that is frozen solid may result in frostbite
  • Once desired temperature is reached, position on and attach to inside of compression sleeve using velcro tabs
  • Position compression sleeve so that gel pack is directly positioned above area in need to treatment – may need to reposition gel pack within compression sleeve for perfect placement.
  • Wrap sleeve around affected area so that it fits snugly and does not move
  • if gel pack feels uncomfortably cold, remove immediately – it may result in frostbite
